Our Story

 

Welcome to Little Dearies Enchanted Forest! Teresa Jimenez is the talented Reborn Artist behind each baby you see here. She pours a little bit of magic and a whole lot of love into each doll she makes. Her attention to detail, excellent customer service, and kind heart has earned her a 5 star rating from her devoted customers. 

Teresa began her reborning journey in 2016, but it was her crochet business that led her here. On the hunt for baby dolls she could use as models for her baby crochet hats, she stumbled upon Adora dolls, then Ashton Drake dolls – eventually leading her to reborns. Fascinated by them, she decided that not only did she want to own one – she wanted to try her hand at making one. 

When she first started this baby-making venture, she didn’t tell her family about it. Needless to say, her husband and sons were a bit startled to come home from work and find vinyl baby parts taking over the kitchen. Teresa has always been a creative and whenever she resolves to give something a try, she gives it her all. She was a natural right from the start and her artistic skill has only grown as she’s continued to make and sell these “Little Dearies.” 

Little Dearies is now her full time job and she operates entirely on her own from her home in Southern California. But this is not just a job to her – she absolutely loves every single part of it and pours her heart into each Little Dearie that she brings to life. 

Her mission is to deliver lifelike, quality babies to each of her customers and through doing the work she loves – create dolls that bring joy and comfort to everyone they touch.

Teresa is a daughter of the King, wife, mother of four, and grandmother to two precious girls and one sweet boy. Disney blood runs through her veins and many would be quick to agree that she is a child at heart. She loves coffee and classic TV shows like Andy Griffith and Leave It To Beaver.
If she were a character from Lord of The Rings (her favorite movies), she would probably be a Hobbit because she enjoys peace and quiet, the small things, good food, and staying in the comforts of home.
She is a tole painter – turned web & graphics designer – turned crochet designer – turned Reborn Artist.
